Questions
What families ask us
What ages and weeks do you serve?
Camp is for ages 5 to 12, in six weeks, one story each week. The younger group is 5 to 8 and the older group is 9 to 12.
What is a day like?
Campers arrive at 8:30 a.m., sit together for a devotion, spend the morning outdoors, eat lunch from home inside, play in the afternoon and finish with a song at the closing circle before pickup at 3:00 p.m.
What is the devotion, and does my child have to join in?
It is a short story, a song and a prayer. A child who would rather listen than sing or pray may just listen, and we never ask about your family's church.
What do I bring?
A hat, a water bottle, sunscreen already on, lunch in a labeled bag, closed shoes and a change of clothes. Leave phones and toys at home.
What happens in the heat or the rain?
Outdoor blocks move into the fellowship hall and the classrooms, and we text families before camp starts.
How does pickup work, and who may collect my child?
An adult on your list signs your camper out at the front door, and we ask for ID until we know you. We call you if a different adult comes.
How does tuition work?
It depends on the weeks you book and your camper's age group. The enrollment page has the figures.
How do I hold a place, and what is the waitlist?
Register and pay the first week to hold a place. Full weeks have a waitlist, and we call the next family when a place opens.
What do you do about allergies and medicine?
Tell us at registration, and we ask what we need privately. Please leave those details off the website forms.
Can a friend join my child's group?
Yes, if both families register for the same week and the group has room. Tell us when you register.
Are phones allowed?
No. Phones stay at home, and a camper who needs to reach you uses the office phone.
Still have a question?
Call the camp or send it from the contact page.
